Rajya Sabha Assurances Committee discusses myriad of issues in Jaipur

Jaipur: Rajya Sabha’s Assurance Committee held a meeting at Jaipur’s Marriott Hotel which was presided over by MP M Thambi Durai. The committee delved into issues related to assurances presented in the Rajya Sabha on Friday. Representatives from civil aviation, youth affairs, sports, railways, medical and family welfare, and tourism sectors participated in meeting.

Pertinent queries were posed to officials, particularly concerning the resolution of land disputes linked to the Greenfield airport. The officials assured the initiation of work post-completion of formalities, including approval from the Forest Department. The meeting also discussed the challenges surrounding establishment of an Air Cargo Complex in Udaipur.
