Raje’s meet with RSS Chief draws ‘interest’!

Jaipur: In what could be termed as a major political moment, for the political landscape of Rajasthan and more so for the state BJP, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday. Raje’s Nagpur stay has been kept a secret and her sudden visit to the RSS headquarters is a point of discussion in ‘relevant’ political corridoors.

It is learnt that after having food at the house of a former BJP RS member, Raje reached the Sangh HQs. As such, the Scindia family has had a long relationship with RSS and Vijaya Raje Scindia had herself arrived in Nagpur. After joining BJP, Vasundhara Raje’s nephew Jyotiraditya Scindia also reached the Sangh HQs. However, Raje had never visited the Sangh headquarters in last two decades. As a result, there was a lot of discussion in the political circles regarding her Nagpur visit, during which RSS’s Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and national office bearers of the Sangh met Raje. Notably, after the meet, Raje discreetly returned to Delhi.
