Rajasthan's district map redrawn: Dudu emerges as state's smallest district
Jaipur: In a significant reshaping of Rajasthan's administrative landscape, the recent decision by the Gehlot cabinet has led to the creation of 19 new districts in the state, bringing the total count to 50. Among the newly formed districts, Dudu has claimed the distinction of being the smallest in the state.
Traditionally, Jaisalmer held the title of the largest district in Rajasthan in terms of area, while Dholpur was recognized as the smallest. However, the addition of these new administrative units has ushered in a change, with Dudu now assuming the role of the smallest district, a testament to the evolving needs and dynamics of the state's population and development.
