G20: Rajasthani artists to give colourful cultural performance from Dec 4 to 7 in Udaipur

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Government's Department of Tourism is all set to receive Sherpas, ambassadors, and senior representatives of different countries with a traditional welcome for the first Sherpa meeting of the G-20 Summit, scheduled to start from Sunday in Udaipur.

The Department of Tourism has chalked out a comprehensive plan to hold various cultural programmes during the 4-day-long event from December 4 to 7, starting from welcoming the guests at the airport to the Sherpa meeting. Mrs. Gayatri Rathod, Principal Secretary, of the Department of Tourism, provided this information to the media on Saturday.

Rabile and female folk artists will welcome guests at the Maharana Pratap Airport

The Department of Tourism will welcome the guests at Udaipur's Maharana Pratap Airport to introduce them to Rajasthani culture. Female folk artists from Bikaner in traditional costumes of Marwar will welcome the guests. Apart from welcoming the guests, branding related to various tourist places of the state has also been done at the Udaipur airport, which is set to leave a long-lasting impression of the tourist places and culture of Rajasthan in the minds of guests.

Cultural presentations of Rajasthan to be held in the evenings of December 4 to 7

Various cultural programs will be organized by the Department of Tourism in the evenings of December 4 to 7. On the first day of the meeting, on the evening of December 4, world-famous Langa Manganiyar folk artiste, Ghazi Khan will give a colorful performance at the Sheeshmahal of Hotel Leela.

On the second day, on the evening of December 5, various folk artists of the state will enthrall the foreign guests with the cultural program' Colors of Rajasthan' organized at the Jagmandir Palace. The next day, on the evening of December 6, there will be a presentation based on different art styles of India at the Manak Chowk, Udaipur City Palace. Similarly, on the fourth day, in the evening of December 7, a cultural presentation will be held in Ranakpur.
