Jaipur: Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday announced the establishment of the 8th power company in the state. In the state budget, Gehlot made an announcement to form the new power company “ITCOM”.
At present, seven power companies were functioning in different areas. DISCOMS are there in Jaipur, Ajmer, and Jodhpur for the electricity supply system. Apart from this, RVPNL is working to strengthen the power transmission system.
RRECL has the important task of promoting renewable energy in the state.
