Rajasthan to focus on sampling as the state sees rise in Covid cases
Covid-19 cases are increasing consistently in the India, including the state of Rajasthan. For the same, the State government has decided to focus on sampling after conducting mock drills in hospitals across the State, the officials of the Medical Department reviewed the situation in the districts through VC on Tuesday.
Medical Education Secretary T.Ravikant and Medical Secretary Dr Prithvi inquired about the preparations for Covid control and management through video conferencing in the Swasthya Bhawan Auditorium and gave necessary guidelines.
Principals of all medical colleges, superintendents of hospitals and Chief Medical Officers and concerned officials participated in the meeting. During this, Ravikant gave instructions to compulsorily do Covid sampling on the patients coming to the hospitals. He instructed to send the collected samples to the designated centers for examination as soon as possible and to ensure treatment to the patients found infected as per the prescribed protocol.
