Jaipur: In a major update on the Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi murder case, Gogamedi’s wife Sheela Shekhawat has announced to end the protest. The last rites of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi will be performed on Thursday. The mortal remains will be kept at Rajput Sabha Bhavan at 7 am for the last darshan, after that will be taken to Gogamedi village. Till news last came in, body was to be taken for post-mortem as post mortem of Gogamedi will be done tonight in SMS Hospital by the Medical Board. A tribute meeting will be held at Ramleela Maidan in New Delhi on December 10.

The markets remained closed in Jaipur and some other districts of the State on Wednesday after a bandh call by the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena to protest the killing of its head Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
