Raj police makes elaborate arrangements for Yatra

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Police has started making elaborate arrangements for the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra,’ scheduled to take place in Rajasthan from early December. ADG (Traffic) VK Singh and ADG (Security) S Sengathir on Saturday, directed the SPs of the concerned districts via VC to make adequate arrangements for security and traffic during the Yatra of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Rajasthan.

ADG (Traffic) VK Singh informed that 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' will pass through Jhalawar, Kota Rural, Kota City, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa and Alwar districts in Rajasthan. During the Yatra, nearly 3,000-4,000 policemen will be deployed and necessary arrangements regarding their lodging and boarding are being made. “The Bharat Jodo Yatra will be begun in Rajasthan from Kota range. The Kota range team has already visited the neighbouring state of Madhya Pradesh to see the arrangements in advance. The traffic diversion is being planned on the 'Yatra' routes keeping in view the safety of the crowd and VVIPs coming during the Yatra,” said ADG VK Singh.
