Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Nodal Officer Nirbhaya Squad, Sunita Meena said that Nirbhaya Squad, which works for the safety of women and girls, met Director General Rajasthan Police on Thursday and apprised them of the action taken so far.

Director General of Police, Umesh Mishra said that the squad is doing an excellent work in Rajasthan against abusers and miscreant and is also teaching self defense to the girls. Sunita Meena told the Director General of Police that till now 200 women personnel of this Nirbhaya Squad stationed in Jaipur, have put more than 9000 men behind bars by continuously patrolling as well as conducting decoy operation in plain uniform.
