Raj players winning accolades in various sports: Chandna
Jaipur: After a gap of 34 years in the state, the Senior Men’s National Handball Competition is being organised from March 20- 25 at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium.
The 50th edition of the competition was inaugurated by Agriculture Minister Lalchand Kataria where Sports Minister Ashok Chandna, Dr Krishna Poonia, Chief Patron of State Handball Association Dr Ruparam Dhandev were present. 35 teams of the country are going to participate in this competition.
Agriculture Minister Lalchand Kataria said, “After 34 years, Rajasthan has been chosen to host the competition. Along with this, the handball association is well prepared to make this mega event, a success.
The result of the development that has taken place is now visible. Rajasthan has achieved great feats in the field of sports in last three years.” Sports Minister Ashok Chandna said, “Sports has been developing continuously in Rajasthan for last few years. Athletes from Rajasthan have performed brilliantly in Para Olympics & Raj players are winning medals in every sporting field.”
