Jaipur: In the current fiscal year, Rajasthan aims to lay a 2,000-km gas pipeline across 8 cities, including Jaipur & Kota, while expanding infrastructure for 100,000 new domestic gas connections. Mines Secretary Anandhi directed 13 City Gas Distribution (CGD) organisations to prepare and execute a roadmap for this pipeline in Jaipur, Kota, Alwar, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bundi, Ajmer, and Pali.

RIICO MD Shiv Prakash Nakate prioritised land allocation for CNG, PNG, and LNG in RIICO industrial zones. Rajasthan State Gas MD Ranveer Singh reported 309,443 domestic & 465 industrial gas connections, with 364 operational CNG stations and ongoing infrastructure expansion by CGD firms.
