Raj permits 1MW rooftop solar plant for net metering

Jaipur: In a big move, the solar consumers of net metering in the State, can make electricity and save money on power bills. Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission issued a detailed order.

In this, the consumers can install a rooftop plant of one-MegaWatt capacity. Till now, a solar plant of up to 500 kilowatts could be installed in net metering, however, in this order, exemption has been given to all categories of consumers.

The consumers of the NDS-Industry category will get the maximum benefit.
