Raj performing better than other states in POCSO Act

Jaipur: In the report of NCRB, even though the state has been shown to be the top in the country in terms of atrocities on women, Rajasthan is performing better than other states in getting the accused punished in cases related to the POCSO Act. In the NCRB report 2021, it has been revealed that in the cases related to the POCSO Act, the state has done a good job in getting the accused severely punished, due to the direct monitoring of the police headquarters. Now the investigation time in the cases related to the POCSO Act has also reduced considerably in the districts. SPs and IGs are making sure that the accused are given strict punishment as soon as possible. DGP Umesh Mishra himself is monitoring the cases related to POCSO Act. CM Ashok Gehlot has also praised the prompt action of Rajasthan Police in cases related to POCSO Act.
