Raj needs to focus on its branding: Singh

Jaipur: Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh on Friday chaired the meeting of the steering committee of tourism department in secretariat. Minister Singh said that there are immense possibilities for tourism development in Rajasthan and there is a need to focus on its branding and marketing. The minister sought detailed information on the proposed media plan and action plan regarding expenditure from the tourism development fund. He also discussed the preparations being made regarding the G20 summit and the upcoming folk festival. Chairman of RTDC Dharmendra Rathore said that the folk art festival will be organized from January 15, 2023. Principal Secretary (Tourism) Gayatri Rathore, RTDC MD Vijay Pal Singh, Director (Tourism) Dr Rashmi Sharma & other officials were also present.
