Raj-MP Guvs seek cooperation for devp of bordering districts

Jaipur: A joint meeting of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh governors was held in Udaipur on Friday. The meeting, held in the divisional commissioner’s office of Udaipur, discussed various issues related to the two-bordering states. During the meeting, Governor Kalraj Mishra said that a survey has been done regarding revenue disputes in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh and the officers should ensure effective resolution of these issues. The governor also instructed that the benefits of the developmental schemes and schemes related to girl child education, medical, tribal welfare, and other schemes implemented by the state governments are given equally to the people of the border districts of both states.

MP Governor Mangubhai Patel also expressed the need for the officers of the bordering states to work unanimously on the issues related to the development of both states. “Six districts of Madhya Pradesh and nine districts of Rajasthan share their borders. In such a situation, an effective security system must be developed.”
