Raj Medical Council registers 27 Pak migrant docs for practice

Jaipur: The dream of more the doctors practicing medicine in Pakistan to serve humanity will be fulfilled in Rajasthan. After the approval of the Centre, the Rajasthan Medical Council has started the process of registration of Pakistani displaced Hindu doctors.

So far 27 doctors have been registered by the council, after which all these doctors have become eligible to serve the patients. A large number of Hindu citizens are taking refuge in India due to adverse conditions in Pakistan. These doctors could not practice despite being in India for many years because of the rules and regulations.

Dr Manish Sharma, registrar of Rajasthan Medical Council, played an important role in this whole work, who himself made constant communication with National Medical Commission, went on Delhi tour, only after which the dream of registration of doctors could be fulfilled. Registrar Dr. Manish Sharma told that around 30 doctors approached for registration. The remaining doctors will also be registered as soon as process of citizenship is completed.

Many of these doctors had very good practice in Pakistan and had opened their own clinics.
