Raj leaders play vital role in poll-bound states

Jaipur: From ticket distribution to making election strategy, dozens of BJP and Congress leaders from Rajasthan will play crucial role in the Assembly elections in five states. In Punjab, in-charge of both Congress and BJP are from Rajasthan.

Ex-minister in Gehlot government, Harish Chaudhary, is the AICC in charge for Punjab while Union Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is BJP’s in charge of Punjab.

Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal is the co-in charge in UP, where the Congress has given the responsibility to Dheeraj Gurjar as secretary. Gurjar is looking after election management in UP with Priyanka Gandhi.

In Manipur elections, BJP has given responsibility to Union Labor Minister Bhupender Yadav as election in-charge. Yadav is BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP from Rajasthan.

Similarly, in Uttarakhand, Congress leader Kuldeep Indora was given the responsibility of co-in-charge.
