‘Raj Int’l Centre likely to be ready by Jan-Feb’

Jaipur: Rajasthan International Centre, being built on the lines of Delhi’s India International Centre and India Habitat Centre with modern facilities, is likely to get ready by January or February next year, UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal said. The Minister conducted a visit to the project on Thursday and reviewed the progress of the work. Looking at the increasing number of national and international conferences in Jaipur, the centre was conceptualized. Lack of such a place was constantly being felt in the state where intellectuals could give direction to the society by brainstorming and writers, thinkers, experts and critics can come together under one roof, so Rajasthan International Center project was started. JDA Commissioner Ravi Jain said that arrangements are being made for the successful maintenance and operation of the Centre.
