Raj IAS lose interest in own Assoc!

Jaipur: Are IAS officers in Raj losing interest in their own IAS Association? Is it that babus do not want to enter assoc that has been formed to safeguard their interests?

Well, judging by nominations filed for elections to be held in a few days, it certainly seems so. Only 2 nominations have been filed for 8 posts.

For 12 posts of exec members, merely 1 nomination has been filed. The 'power corridors' are abuzz with discussion as to why this happened and even observers are spellbound as to why have IAS, who themselves like to lead, kept away from an assoc where leadership is required?

Meanwhile, on the vacant posts, CS Arya will nominate officials from his side, as Prez of IAS Assoc.

There is section of cadre that claims that Assoc has become more or less defunct and nothing other than 'Best Wishes' and 'RIP' are shared by it.

This section also stresses that on contrary RAS Association had become the 'talk of the town' with Pawan Arora at its helm and even today RAS Association takes 1st stand when it comes to asserting for RAS' interests.
