Raj HC CJ urges more judges, Bar support to address case backlog

Jaipur: Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court, Justice MM Shrivastava, while speaking at his felicitation ceremony organised by the High Court Bar Association, said that pendency is a big problem in the courts but this problem cannot be eliminated unless the number of judges is increased and the number of courts is increased.

He said that there is no such institution where everything is going well and similarly, there are many challenges in the judiciary too.

“The number of cases is high and the number of judges is less, There is also a shortage of judges and infrastructure. I would also like to ask the Bar to provide support in this because without the Bar this work can’t be completed,” he said.
