Jaipur: The CM Ashok Gehlot on Saturday discussed the state’s efforts to help people during rising prices through various initiatives including providing gas cylinders to Rs 500.

He mentioned that Rajasthan now has the cheapest gas cylinder in the country, costing only Rs. 500. “This achievement is possible with the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme in which LPG gas cylinder distributors played a significant role,” he said.

During a meeting with the Rajasthan LPG Gas Cylinder Distributors Association, Gehlot emphasized the state’s progress in various areas, like education and healthcare.

Gehlot encouraged the gas cylinder distributors to offer their suggestions for ‘Rajasthan Mission-2030’ and said that the initiative aims to gather ideas from citizens.
