Raj government to open hostels in different districts

Jaipur: In order to provide better education to the students of minority communities in the state, the state govt is going to open hostels in different dists. Along with this, a hostel for working women in Jaipur’s Mansarovar and a Minority Citizen Facilitation Centre in Jodhpur will be set up.

CM Gehlot has approved the proposal to increase the amount of Minority Development Fund to Rs 200 crore including its establishment and to get approved progress works done under the fund in 2022-23.

10 hostels in 9 districts: Hostels of 50 beds each will be made in Jaipur at Kishanpole (girls), Dudu, Kuchaman City (girls) in Nagaur, Baran, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Bundi, Chittorgarh and Churu. The total cost of these will be Rs 28 crore.

100-bed working women hostel: A 100 beds hostel will be built for working women belonging to minority communities in Mansarovar, priority will be given to low-paid women.
