Raj first state to introduce ‘Bridge Course’ for students: Dr BD Kalla

Jaipur: Discussions with students about their career plans and opportunities were held in the Education Summit organised by First India news channel. Educational institutes were also felicitated for their outstanding performance in the field of education during the Summit. Education Minister BD Kalla, Higher Education Minister Rajendra Yadav, and Technical Education Minister Dr Subhash Garg were present as special guests in the Summit along with channel head Dr Jagdeesh Chandra.

They inaugurated the Summit by lighting a lamp. Education Minister Dr BD Kalla said, “Every child grows up and says that I want to become a teacher because he is very much influenced by a teacher.” He said that the State Government has started a ‘Bridge Course’ and Rajasthan is the first state to do so. Higher education minister Rajendra Yadav said that the parents want their children to acquire a good professional career.

Talking about the Summit, Technical Education Minister Dr Subhash Garg said that the concept of the Education Summit is very effective. He said that those who run institutions, face a lot of problems and difficulties and they have to learn how to overcome the challenges in the changing environment. He also said that stern action should be taken against the private institutions, which issue fake degrees to students.
