Raj emerged as Model State in education with unique innovations, says CM Gehlot

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday virtually launched the ‘Rajasthan ke Shiksha me Badhte Kadam’ programme at his official residence here for the students of classes I to VIII in the academic session 2022-23 to compensate the learning loss due to the corona pandemic.

In this bridge course, the students will be taught in easy and enjoyable manner. Besides this, he also inaugurated the ‘Field Orientation’ programme for teachers, education officers, guardians and children. Gehlot said that Rajasthan has emerged as a Model State in the country with its unique innovations in the field of education.
The establishment of Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools and vision of efficiency-based education is becoming ideal for other states. ‘Bridge Programme’ was announced with a financial provision of Rs 75 crore in the budget 2022- 23. “The main objective of bridge course is to bring educational level of children in line with present class, with which they will not face any problems in future,” Gehlot said. Education Minister Dr BD Kalla said that state govt has recruited 77,239 teachers & recruitment of more than 1L is in process. MoS for Education Jahida Khan said that the state is constantly moving ahead in girls’ education. CS Usha Sharma said that Raj has carved its niche at the national level with regard to innovations done in field of education.
