Raj ACB conducts statewide raids against Apex Bank MD

Jaipur: In a major crackdown on disproportionate assets, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has initiated search operations across several districts of the state on Wednesday. Acting on tip-offs, the ACB targeted senior officials, including Apex Bank’s Managing Director Bhomaram and Suresh, a Village Development Officer from Kota Range, suspected of amassing substantial illicit wealth through corrupt practices. Following the development of the initial intelligence, multiple ACB teams conducted searches in Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Nagaur, and Kota. The operations are being carried out at Bhomaram’s residence in Jaipur’s Chitrakoot area, his ancestral home in Nagaur, and a petrol pump in Khinwsar.

During a search operation led by ASP Sandeep Saraswat and Inspector Raghuveer Sharan, ACB uncovered documents related to 7 plots of Bhoma Ram. documents for a petrol pump and an under-construction hotel in Khimsar, registered under Bhoma Ram’s wife’s name, were found. Gold and silver jewelry worth lakhs, & other movable, immovable assets were found. ACB has filed a case against Bhoma Ram.
