PWD ACB trap case: All three accused sent to judicial custody

Jaipur: In the PWD bribery case, the ACB produced the three accused at the judge’s residence on Thursday. The judge ordered to send all three to judicial custody. The ACB on Wednesday carried out major action at the Nirman Nagar residence of Subodh Kumar Malik, Chief Engineer of PWD Department.

The ACB team arrested the Chief Engineer, Executive Engineer Jitendra Kumar Jain and Assistant Engineer Anant Kumar Gupta while accepting a bribe amount of Rs 10 lakh. ACB carried out this entire action after keeping the phone numbers of the accused on surveillance on the basis of source information.

Chief Engineer of PWD Department Subodh Kumar Malik had sent a departmental notice to Executive Engineer Jitendra Kumar Jain posted in Dungarpur for irregularities in the work.
