PROTESTS ACROSS STATE FOR JUSTICE

Jaipur: Protesting against self-immolation of advocate Hansraj Mavliya, lawyers blocked road at collectorate circle by parking vehicles on roads.

Advocates reached court on Friday and did not work. Bail matters got stuck in HC. Protesting advocates demanded immediate action against guilty SDM.

Along with suspension of SDM Rakesh Kumar and Khandela SHO Ghasiram Meena, named by Mavliya.

They demanded govt job to kin of deceased & monetary compensation of Rs 2 cr. Situation became such that it took extra 2-3 hrs to reach places. Protestors also demanded Rs 2 cr compensation to Mavliya’s family & a govt job to a kin. “Charter of demands given to administration. We are holding protest, cremation will be done after demands fulfilled,” CPIM leader Amraram.
