Protest outside SMS mortuary after death of gunman Ajit Singh

Jaipur: After the death of Ajit Singh, who was shot during the Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi massacre and died during treatment at SMS Hospital late on Tuesday night, a large number of people from Rajput community along with his family members gathered at SMS Mortuary, where the body was kept, on Wednesday.

People of the Rajput community protested at the mortuary and raised slogans. Family of Ajit Singh demanded Rs 5 cr in compensation.

After a long time, a consensus was reached between the family members of the deceased and the police officers. After which the family agreed to get the post-mortem done on the body. The protesters returned after both sides agreed.
