Property dealer shot at in Jpr; Rs 1cr ransom sought

Jaipur: Some miscreants opened fire at a property dealer after he refused to give them extortion money in Sanganer area. The accused fired three rounds and took away his car which was later found in Mansarover area. The victim Ganesh Jat was admitted to a hospital in critical condition.

MLA Ashok Lahoty and others reached the spot and demanded arrest of the accused.
Police said that the miscreants entered the chamber of the property dealer near Malpura gate and threatened him and 2 others at gunpoint. They demanded money from them. Later they took Ganesh Jat to an ATM nearby where they opened fire and decamped in his car. The car was later found in Mansarovar area.
