Promote Swami Dayanand’s teachings in univ: Governor

Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra urged the state’s universities to draw inspiration from the contributions of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati to Indian culture and nation-building. He emphasized the need for universities to imbibe the ideals of Swami Dayanand Saraswati in grooming the new generation and ensuring their participation in societal upliftment.

Highlighting Swamiji’s call to “return to the Vedas,” the Governor urged further propagation of his teachings to combat superstitions, social customs, and traditions. He stressed the importance of disseminating Swamiji’s role as a harbinger of enlightenment to the masses.

Governor Mishra was speaking at the National Conference on “Nation Building and the Catalyst of Indian Knowledge Tradition Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati,” held at the Humanities Auditorium of Rajasthan University on Friday. He described Swami Dayanand as a revolutionary social reformer and thinker.
