Problems of children suffering from rare diseases discussed

Jaipur: Center of Excellence for Treatment of Rare Diseases will be created in the state for the treatment of rare diseases occurring in children. A proposal will soon be sent to the Government of India to build this center in JK Lone Hospital, Jaipur.

Addl CS of Medical and Health Shubhra Singh gave instructions in this regard in a high level meeting. She said that due to lack of financial resources, common people face great difficulty in getting proper treatment for rare diseases occurring in children.

Health Minister Gajendra Singh has taken the initiative to take necessary steps in this direction, she said.
