Prioritise health, edu in tribal areas: Mishra

Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra on Wednesday said that effective efforts should be made at all levels to remove inequality in the field of health, education and employment in the tribal areas of the state. The Governor instructed to prepare a data bank of youth who have received skill training in the tribal areas. The Governor took a meeting on Wednesday at Raj Bhavan regarding the progress and problems of the schemes for tribal development and welfare in the tribal areas. While addressing the review meeting online, Mishra directed to work for maximum expansion of education and health services in tribal areas. He said that coordinated efforts should be made in these areas to reduce infant mortality, maternal mortality and increase the level of nutrition. The Governor also gave instructions to implement the scheme after considering the scheme of delivering ration at home in the tribal areas.
