Pratap Nagar: RHB frees land worth Rs 200cr from encroachers

Jaipur: On RHB Commissioner Pawan Arora’s instructions, a team of RHB officers, while taking major action in Sector-23 of Pratap Nagar, freed about 23,000 square meters of valuable land from encroachment. The current market value of this land is estimated to be around Rs 200 crore. Arora has instructed the divisional officers to dispose of the land by planning. It is worth mentioning that RHB has acquired Khasra numbers 304, 305, 307, 308, 309, 319/339, 319/340, 319/341 and 319/342 near Mahal Road & Pratap Nagar Chaupati & awarded the total area of 18 Bigha 11 Biswa to the award holders. Out of this, about 9 bigha and 5.5 biswa land had been encroached upon. The Board’s team got the illegal construction demolished by JCB and installed boards of the land owned by RHB. Telephone network tower of a private firm installed at the spot, has been sealed. Arora has expressed gratitude to Jaipur Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava for his cooperation in this entire process. During this operation, Jaipur Commissionerate’s Pratapnagar & Sanganer police stations made available additional police force.
