Praiseworthy implementation of budget announcements: CM

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Thursday that the implementation of budget announcements made by the departments from 2019 to 2023 is praiseworthy. Addressing the review meeting of the budget announcements made in the last five years at the Secretariat, Gehlot appreciated the speedy disposal of cases related to allotment of desired land under the budget announcements. He directed that the rules of the Right to Health Act should be made soon.

It was told in the meeting that 4,146 budget announcements have been made from 2019 to 23, keeping all sections of the society at the centre. For their timebound implementation, the target is being continuously achieved by making a departmental action plan.

So far, more than 4.75 crore Chief Minister Guarantee Cards have been distributed to more than 1 crore families in Mehangai Rahat Camps.

“This camp is the best model of good governance, due to which the poor, women, disabled and farmers are getting benefited on the spot,” said Gehlot.

Gehlot called for speeding up the works of Jal Jeevan Mission, ensuring DPC twice a year for the personnel, formation of RISF on the lines of CISF, ensuring timely payment under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA, timely supply of edible seeds, innovation of RIICO Guidelines, and establishment of Marwar Medical University.
