Power Min takes report of Junior Engineers’ strike

Jaipur: Junior engineers of electricity department on Monday went on a ‘tool down strike’ in state, crippling power situation in several areas. Administration was on an alert mode owing to strike.

Power Min Bhanwar Singh Bhati took report of strike and gave directions to officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

Meanwhile, Jaipur Discom MD Ajit Saxena also gave instructions to all field officials to address consumer complaints with immediate effect.

Similarly, discom AENs were instructed to monitor power supply in the city.

MD Ajit Saxena appealed to agitating technical staff to get back to work immediately. He also assured them that their demands will be met soon as the department is positive towards their grievances.
