PoW to start ops from October 12; Vishal Bhardwaj to shoot movie in Royal train

Jaipur: Tourists waiting to travel in the royal train, Palace on Wheel, will have to wait a little more as the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) has decided to run the first trip of this train from October 12. Prior to this, a trial will be done beginning September 28 to check all the amenities and security features of the train. The technical team and RTDC officials will be present during the trial run. Besides, filmmaker and director Vishal Bhardwaj plans to shoot his film on the royal train for which he has sent a proposal to RTDC.

According to RTDC officials, people’s September bookings have been shifted to October. Besides, passengers can shift their booking beyond October as well. Passengers who want to travel on Oct 12 can do so.

According to RTDC officials, the film can be shot in this train before its first trip. Bhardwaj has sought booking for five days in the first week of October. It is likely that after the rates are fixed, the train will be available for shooting in the first week of October.
