POONIA, BJP WORKERS COURT ARREST AT HALLA BOL RALLY

Jaipur: The BJP took out Janakrosh Halla Bol rally against the state government in Bharatpur on Thursday. Before the rally, State president Satish Poonia addressed the meeting where he fiercely attacked the state government. He said that whether it is loan waiver or unemployment or any other issue, the Congress government did not keep its promise.

The demonstration was regarding the paper leak, atrocities on women, and other issues. After addressing the gathering, Poonia marched along with BJP workers to gherao the collectorate. During this, there was a scuffle between the BJP workers and the police. BJP workers broke police barricades and reached the main gate of the collectorate. Poonia tried to climb its gate while police tried to stop. Police used water cannons to stop the protesters.

Later, BJP workers along with Poonia, State General Secretary Bhajanlal Sharma, and BJP leaders courted arrest. Poonia said that such a demonstration was seen for the first time in Bharatpur against the state govt.
