Pondrik Park parking project dropped: Govt

Jaipur: The state govt told the Rajasthan High Court that it has decided to drop the construction, including the parking project in Pondrik Park after which the court disposed of other petitions in this matter. PILs were filed in Raj HC against the construction of a parking project at the site of the city’s heritage Pondrik Park. The hearing was held in the division bench of acting CJ MM Srivastava and Justice Vinod Kumar Bharwani. During this, Additional Advocate General Anil Mehta said that the govt has dropped all the projects, including the parking at Pondrik Park. Earlier, underground parking was to be made in 3,555 square metres of land.
