Police seize vehicles used in illegal mining

Jaipur: The mines department swiftly acted after getting a complaint in the control room about illegal mining in the hilly area of Bharatpur Deeg on Monday. ME Bharatpur Ramniwas Mangal reached the spot with his team and cancelled the lease and registered a FIR.

Similarly, in Neem ka Thana 1600 tons of iron ore was seized and a fine of Rs four lakh 60,000 was imposed on the culprit. In Khairthal, a JCB was seized and Rs 1 lakh 67,250 fine was imposed. In Gagaria of Ramsar Tehsil, an excavator machine was seized and a 23 lakh 88,000 fine was imposed. During a surprise action, SME Pratap Meena said that ME Jhunjhunu Dharam Singh Meena seized eight dumpers and a tractor trailer transporting Cheja stone.
