Jaipur: On the occasion of Rajasthan Day on Saturday, entry to all state monuments in Jaipur was free. Tourists visiting the Amber Palace were welcomed with tilak and garland at the main gate.

PM Narendra Modi extended his wishes to the people. He said, “Best wishes to all in the state on Rajasthan Day. People here have amazing energy. Rajasthan’s role is very important in building a developed and selfreliant India.”

Besides, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and President Draupadi Murmu also wished the people.

Meanwhile, Saturday being a holiday, thousands of tourists visited the monuments and had a tryst with the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. The tourism and the archaeology dept had made proper arrangements for the tourists.
