Plaints of BJP leaders’ appt in Dist Commissions reach Congress High command
Jaipur: A complaint has reached the Congress High Command regarding BJP leaders becoming presidents and members in the District Consumer Commissions. Congress leaders protested against the appointments made to the posts of members in Banswara. On March 13, the government appointed 12 chairpersons and 8 members in the District Consumer Commissions. The furore rose over appointment of District Consumer Jaipur President and Banswara Member.
However, when questioned, Food Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas clearly said, “I don’t know, CMO has fixed the name.”
Notably, Gyarsilal Meena was appointed as the Chairman of District Consumer Commission-2. Notably, Meena is Member of State Working Committee of BJP ST cell and member of Legal Cell. Along with this, Meena has also been the district in-charge of BJP’s Janakrosh Yatra.
Additionally, Kamlesh Sharma joined the medical wing of BJP from Banswara. Now, former President of Congress Law & Human Rights Cell Sushil Sharma raised the question and requested for immediate stay of orders and cancellation of appointment.
However, sources say that a recommendation letter was written for Kamlesh by some key Ministers and MLAs of the Congress government and the political appointment was based on the recommendation letter. Notably, the name was also recommended by a veteran Minister of the Wagad region.
