PIL to challenge VC Dr Garg’s appointment

Jaipur: The Jodhpur Bench of the Rajasthan HC has sought response from the concerned parties in the matter regarding the appointment of the Vice Chancellor of Rajasthan Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Bikaner. The Public Interest Litigation challenging the appointment of Vice Chancellor Dr. Satish Kumar Garg has been filed by Rajasthan Youth Board member Sunil Sharma. In the PIL, the court has directed the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Bikaner to get the notice served immediately to the Vice Chancellor. A division bench of High Court Justices Sandeep Mehta and R a j e n d r a Prakash Soni has summoned the response of the Vice Chancellor along with the parties concerned. Sunil Sharma has challenged the Raj Bhavan’s order dated 6 August 2021 through advocate Moti Singh.
