PHED engineers’ strike called off after Min Joshi intervenes

Jaipur: The picketing of the PHED engineers ended after talks with minister Mahesh Joshi. The decision to go on mass leave on Wednesday was also withdrawn. The PHED Minister has agreed to the reasonable demands of Engineers. In a week, the govt will be asked to take action against the collector and the connection has been restored at the house of the Superintendent Engineer in Karauli. Earlier on on Tuesday engineers of the PHED dept were protesting at the Jal Bhawan.
