Petrol pumps strike in Raj from Mar 10-12

Jaipur: After a call by the Rajasthan Petrol Dealers Association to observe a statewide strike from March 10 till March 12, people started thronging petrol pumps in Jaipur and resorted to panic buying.

The strike will be carried out to demand the reduction of VAT on petrol and diesel, the dealers are protesting against the non-increase of dealer commission for the last 7 years and of forcible supply of premium products. Due to the strike more than 6700 petrol pumps of the state won’t sell petroleum products and this will cost a lot to the public exchequer.
