People must be aware of online fraud: Kachwaha
Jaipur: National Consumer Day was celebrated on Sunday across the country, including Jaipur. A state-level programme was organized at RAS Club in Jaipur. Chairman of the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Justice Devendra Kachwaha was the chief guest and inaugurated programme.
Commission’s Registrar Ashok Sharma and Director of Consumer Affairs Department Navneet Kumar were special guests. During the programme, e-commerce and other new types of businesses and the problems faced by consumers were discussed. After the program, Justice Kachwaha said that with time the trend of consumers is also changing. “Now, there is aggressive shopping and keeping this in mind, consumers should be aware and not fall victims to any kind of fraud,” he said. Navneet Kumar, Director of Consumer Affairs Department, gave several examples and said that now people are also becoming aware of the complaints of fraud related to online trading.
