People in govt involved in REET scam: Poonia

Jalore: State BJP President Satish Poonia said that the needle of suspicion in the REET scam points to the Congress-led government in the state only.

The Special Operations Group (SOG) is only “catching small fish, letting the crocodiles off the hook”. Hence, to instill confidence in people’s mind, an impartial probe is the need of the hour, he added.

Addressing the media during his tour to the city on Tuesday, Poonia reiterated his demand for a CBI probe into the episode.

Reacting to his Congress counterpart’s remarks, he sought to know that if the ruling party leaders and their people in the government aren’t involved, why are they afraid of a CBI probe?

The BJP veteran pointed out that at 32.3%, Rajasthan has the highest unemployment rate in the country. At the same time, industrial houses are not inclined to invest in state as the law and order situation is in shambles here.
