‘Pensioners played vital role in Raj’s growth’
Jaipur: The Rajasthan Pensioners Society’s annual convention took place at Mahal Rajwada Resort in Jaipur, with LS Speaker Om Birla as the chief guest. The event featured the release of the society’s magazine and the Pensioner Ratna Award, which was presented to Prem Shankar Suman. Birla acknowledged pivotal role of pensioners in India’s progress, stressing their ongoing contributions to Raj’s development. He highlighted state govt’s initiatives to support pensioners, including efforts to establish pension buildings in each district. Over 4,000 pensioners were present.
