Pension scheme for workers, street vendors

Jaipur: The Finance Minister has announced the implementation of Mukhyamantri Vishwakarma Pension Scheme for workers in the age group of 18 to 45 years so that workers and street vendors can also get support in old age. She said that on paying a monthly premium of Rs 60 to 100 in this scheme, after completing 60 years of age, they will get a pension of Rs 2000 per month. The remaining premium of approximately Rs 400 per person per month will be borne by the state government. The pension will be in addition to CM Samman Jan Pension. Rs 350 crore has been proposed for the scheme.
