Patwari held redhanded with Rs 16K

Jaipur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday caught Bhairulal Jat, Patwari of Dabaddumba in Tehsil Todarai Singh in Tonk district redhanded taking bribe of Rs 16,000 from the complainant.

Additional Director General of ACB Hemant Priyadarshy said that the bureau received a complaint that the accused was seeking bribe of Rs 20,000 in lieu of demarcation of the Khatedari land.

The complaint was verified under supervision of DIG Randhir Singh by ASP Rajesh Arya and a trap was conducted in which the accused was held with Rs 16,000.
