Patients in dismay due to failure in Hosp servers

Jaipur: In a recurring incident of server failure, patients at the state’s largest Sawai Man Singh Hospital faced significant difficulties yet again. Suddenly, in the morning, the servers crashed, resulting in a halt in working from the Outpatient Department (OPD) to the Inpatient Department (IPD).

Patients couldn’t register nor were their examination slips issued. It took nearly two to three hours for the servers to be restored, but even after that, patients continued to face hrs of distress.

Similar server troubles were reported at Jaipuria Hospital, where patients endured frustration due to the downtime. After the server went down, the issuance of slips at the OPD counter ceased for a while. With the server down, a long queue formed at counters, exacerbating patients’ plight. The extended period of server downtime exacerbated patients’ distress, leading to a massive crowd even in OPD block.
